spirit rev Posted March 12, 2015 #26 Share Posted March 12, 2015 When on the Coral in January we were given a list of songs we could select from for our performance, although it was expected we would sing Sweet Carolline at the end. Most of the songs were different from the cruise three years ago. Our performance was in the atrium just before the dining room doors opened so we had a good crowd. Not sure if this is on all ships - we were treated to a glass of champaign after the performance to celebrate. We were also given a little pin saying "Princess Pop Choir." Have enjoyed doing this twice. While clothing in the black/white vein is preferrable, there hasn't been a true dress code as there is in land-based choruses I have sung in. So, if you forget your black/white don't worry, they won't toss you out.
7leagueboots Posted March 12, 2015 #27 Share Posted March 12, 2015 From the Princess Cruises website: "Are you are ready to join in on the pop culture spotlight? Meet and rehearse with fellow song birds in a fun and participative performance choir. Then, take center stage as you and your fellow passengers put together a show-stopping performance of Princess Pop Choir." And a couple of examples from YouTube... :D On our last cruise they performed in the atrium while we were in lie at the MDR. It certainly made the wait enjoyable!
