Celebrity "Rome on your own"

We are planning to take the "Rome on your own" excursion while on the Celebrity Millennium. Does anyone who has taken this remember where the busses droped off and picked up people? This may have been answered previously, but I can't seem to locate the information. Thanks for any help!

If you mean where do they drop you off and pick you up in Rome,I believe in is St.Peter's.

we were on X's "Rome on your own" excursion on 9/22/05 (or was it 9/23 the days blurred together). Anyway, the bus drops everyone off in the bus terminal which is underground, then we walked up (or took the escalator) to ground level. We were around the corner from St. Peter's Basilica. Our meeting spot for 4pm return by bus was at the gift shop directly in front of St. Peter's Basilica. If you stand on the Basilica steps, walk straight ahead across the large area and across the street. On your left there's a taxi stand and gift shops. That's where we met at 4pm. At 4pm, we walked as a group across the street (with St. Peter's to our right) and then turned left and walked 1/3 of a block to a ramp that took us down to the bus.
