CAPinBoynton Posted September 30, 2006 #604 Share Posted September 30, 2006 While in Tuscany, we just happened to be there during the two weeks that the sunflower crop was in full bloom --- as far as you could see, in all directions.
amarillocruisecat Posted September 30, 2006 #605 Share Posted September 30, 2006 Mike & Carol, Just took a quick look at your web site. Fantatastic stuff. I've bookmarked it so I can go back and read all your entries. Thanks for all the great info and photos.
CAPinBoynton Posted October 1, 2006 #606 Share Posted October 1, 2006 Thanks amarillocruisecat. I hope you enjoy the site. As I said before, most of the reviews have links at the end to the albums. The land tours of Greece and Italy at the bottom of the home page were some of our earlier reviews. Those pictures are scanned, as they were before Mike got his first digital camera in 2001. He got it right before we went on the Baltic cruise. Enjoy,

It was one of those little things that happen that you remember for the rest of your life --- a very special moment in time. If we had not been on a private tour, we would not have been able to stop to take pictures. Mike also took one of me standing in the field surrounded by the sunflowers. Now, everytime we see a sunflower, we just look at each other and smile.

drosphot Posted October 6, 2006 #611 Share Posted October 6, 2006 This is my favorite pic because it was the LAST photo in the underwater disposable. Pure luck on the perfect framing of the subject as I stuck the camera out in front of us... :D Taken in G-town, Grand Cayman. suezyq50 Posted October 7, 2006 #612 Share Posted October 7, 2006 drospot: How were you able to snorkel with your mustache/goutee? My husband tried nose plugs along with the goggles, but couldn't get the nose plugs to stay on. We are going again in Dec. and he wants to try again. No, we take them strictly for pleasure. If you like them that much, you would probably enjoy our website. Our most recent review has 275 pictures in it, and at a higher resolution than these. Mike takes most of the really great ones. He decided to make it his hobby, so he has the lens, etc. I love to take pictures, but I'm not as serious about it as he is. :D From Freedom of the Seas Ice Show:

Rare pierces Posted October 12, 2006 #618 Share Posted October 12, 2006 We had this one lab-printed and mounted at 16" x 40". CAPinBoynton Posted October 14, 2006 #624 Share Posted October 14, 2006 In Dunedin, New Zealand we saw an albatross on her nest. They are huge birds with a wing span of ten feet. Next we saw the rarest breed of all penguins, the Yellow Eyed Penguin.
