Loved the old photographs, thanks for sharing.

 

One thing that struck me was that while most of us tend to look back with nostalgia and convince ourselves that she was less cramped than modern ships i.e. more deck space per passenger, usually we are wrong. However in this case the photographs seem to bear out our fond memories of the ship and there actually was more space.
