Post cruise Cape Liberty to JFK

Hi from Germany,

 

hopefully someone can help us:

We are sailing on the Quantum 12 - 24. April and after the cruise we have a follow on flight from JFK at 1PM. When I booked the flight I was not aware of travel distances and times.

What is the earliest possible time to leave the ship and does anybody know some transportation options to JFK.

 

We stayed sometimes in Florida, but we are absolutely new to this area.

Usually self debarkation begins as early as 6:30 - 7:00 as soon as customs clears the ship. There will be taxis waiting or you can set up private transportation.

Post your question on the Cruise Critic East Coast Departures board (Cape Liberty 411 thread). There are some very helpful, knowledgeable people who will be able to answer your question about transportation to JFK. Some of them have also cruised on the Quantum and are familiar with docking times and travel times between the ship and JFK.

Your main problem will be that the ship docks on a Friday and you will be traveling in rush hour traffic.
