Our previous experience was a simple 2 night cruise on the P&O Cruises Arcadia and we wanted something a little more flexible in terms of dining options and a more "casual" approach. Freestyle Cruising at it's best Celebrity Reflection Spring Break Cruise by jonbax This was our 11th Cruise with Celebrity, and are now Elite members we arrived at Miami port extremely early as the Formula E race was on and celebrity emailed us to get to the ship earlier than normal. we arrived at 10.30am and the port was packed with people leaving the previous cruise aswell as those joining the ship. we checked in quickly and were kept in a holding lounge. we were on the ship by 11.30am and it looked as spick and span as can be. we booked Tuscan and Lawn Club Grill and settled into lunch at Bistro on 5 which serves wonderful savoury and sweet crepes. The flight from Liverpool and subsequent transfer was pretty painless. We were in celebration/guilt mode anyway. When we had booked the cruise, father in law was pretty well, but he fell over 10 days before we were due to leave. It looked unlikely we would be able to go at all. Then on the day before our flight, we felt he had recovered sufficiently for us to leave him in hospital with respite care to follow. NCL offers a coach transfer from the airport to the cruise ship, but it’s a bit of a hike from the terminal to the coach. Continue reading...
