Tobacco Bay swimming/floating question

While my children are excellent swimmers and intend to go snorkeling at Tobacco Bay, I am not a strong swimmer and will not be snorkeling.

So I was thinking of using my inflatable body "float" instead. Will that work here? Are the waters calm? Or is the current too strong and will carry me, the not strong swimmer, out to sea?!!

Tobbaco bay is a shallow sheltered area with very little current or waves . :)

Plenty of fish too .

That is absolutely true inside the rock formations. But the best snorkeling there is on the outside of the the sheltered area. Large parrot fish and the like.
