How do you apply a Carnival Gift Card to account

I am cruising in 13 days and need to add a Carnival Gift Card to my account - I have already paid for the cruise in full, and when I called my PVP he said that he couldnt add my gift card to my account as OBC, but that I needed to that on the ship.

Is this correct? Really hope I can use this for my upcoming cruise!

On my last cruise, I selected cash account when I did my online check-in, and before I was onboard, when we were checking in to get keys, they added my gift card on at that point..... so easy! Hope u enjoy ur cruise!!!

If a GC is used on board can you get cash out with it from the kiosk? Also if you don't use it all is a new GC issued or do you get a check like with cash?

IDK about getting cash out of kiosk..... but on my last cruise I was giving cash back at the end from what I didn't use of my gift cards.... it was only like $30.

I know it wouldn't make a lot of sense to do so, but can you purchase Cruise Cash with a gift card online?

I believe u can but ur right it doesn't make a lot of sense..... and with the Cruise Cash if I'm not mistaken it is non-refundable so If u don't use it all ur SOL..... but I could be mistaken.

I don't know about getting it out of the kiosk, but you can cash it out at the casino. Go to a slot machine, enter your S&S card, and charge the amount you want to your room. I check my balance before going to the casino. I think it was increments of $5. You can then select cash out and take the slip to the cashier. I did this on my last cruise with my $210 so I didn't have to wait for a check to be mailed to me.
