Thinking of booking Oasis - how does the camp compare to Carnivals?

My 10 year old has only been on Carnival. We're thinking of booking Oasis for next spring break and my son is worried he wont like the Adventure Ocean as much as Camp Carnival. He LOVES Camp Carnival. Has anyone had kids in both and can tell me how they compare?

 

Also, we are thinking of booking deck 14 boardwalk balcony - thought it would be good since its close to camp. Anyone been in a deck 14 BB and can share their thoughts on the location?
