Small Map at Check-in?

This is my first time on Carnival. Do they give you a small pocket sized map of the ship at check-in like they do on Princess? Thanks!

Yes, they are on the counter when you check in. Just pick up what you need.

We always get one when we check in, but last cruise people were coming up to us constantly asking where we got it. I would say if you notice you didn't get one when you check in just ask for one. They are really handy to have and makes getting use to the ship a lot easier!

Maps are also in a display at the Guest Services desk.

I've never got one but one our next cruise I will get some for the kids. Usually I memorize enough of the layout to know all the places my girlfriend and I would want to go and she just follows me. Thankfully she doesn't tease me too much when I get us turned around and go in the wrong direction. :)

There are also maps near every stairwell and elevator on the ship
