somerandomidiot Posted April 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2015 The cruise shows up on my completed cruises page with a credit value of 7 but the overall total for my C & A points didn't seem to go up.
Life is Good Cruising Posted April 11, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 11, 2015 From what I have read, you would have to pay some money, some say $1 towards your free cruise to be able to have those cruise points applied to your C&A points. We also came off of a free cruise on Allure but I paid additional money to upgrade our room, our C&A points now reflect the double points from Allure. Thanks, I'd call 'em and ask but I had another recent cruise that was also "free", not from the casino, that did give me points. I don't want to risk losing those points too. Daghis Posted April 12, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2015 Are you in a Crown & Anchor relationship with someone who has more points than you? If so, you're simply seeing whoever has the higher point total. Your own point total would have increased, but if it's still less than the other person's, you'll see their total instead. This happens a lot for married couples who sometimes cruise separately. I cruise more often than my husband, so when he checks his Crown & Anchor account online, he'll see my point total as if it were his, even though his actual count is lower. I wish I was linked to someone with more cruises! Just odd that it gives 7 points for the cruise but the total doesn't go up. I'm only able to go on 3-4 cruises a year so I need all the points I can get.

I have always gotten the points for free cruises...call the C&A. I sail Celebrity but it is the sme company and should ne the same. You pay NCF and port fees, so even a free cruise costs a couple hundred.

I finally gave in and called up. Turns out the free casino cruise was eligible for the points. You were right, my account was linked to my mom's even though I was 27 when I started cruising. I have more points than her but because of the linkage her account had more points than it should have and that confused me. By calling in, I got us de-linked and now she has less points. I knew I should have just left it alone.
