After being on East Coast time, and then flying back home to the West Coast - I totally understand why you would want an earlier flight. I am looking at times for our flight home out of MCO and I *really* want to try and make it for an 11:30am flight because the next one doesn't leave until 4pm - - that puts is into PDX around 10pm, then we still have a 2 hour drive home. And after being on the relaxing schedule of a cruise AND different time zones.......... Ugh.

 

Glad you changed your flight though. Seemed a bit too early - - make sure you bring a deck of cards, for the airport and don't get off the ship until the last possible minute! :) Enjoy!!

I'm glad you changed your flight!! I'm sorry but that one was way too close for comfort.

We had FTTF on our last cruise and were one of the very first people off of the Liberty in Miami and we didn't get through customs and on the other side of the port until 8:15-8:30ish. That does not give you enough time to get to the airport. Even if you are using the miami airport. Plus think about it, customs has the right to pull anyone aside and question them. Not that I have seen them do it, but they can. Gosh I would hate for it to be you when you are in a hurry. Plus what if you get in the taxi and there's a traffic jam or something? It's too short of an amount of time.

We have an 11:30 scheduled out of FLL and even that is the earliest flight I have ever booked, I'm sure we will be fine, but even with that we don't need any delays.
