Most shaded deck on Regal

We have booked a mini suite on the Lido deck on Regal Princess. We really want a shaded deck and were wondering how this would compare to the Aloha deck in this regard as there seem to be better deals on Aloha. We will have a good time either way but just wondering how these decks compare. We have had a mini suite on the Marina deck on Royal and really enjoyed that. Also wondering about noise above on the Lido deck. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The shadiest cabins in the Regal would be the Lido deck cabins and the Marina deck cabins from about M303 aft. There is a significant overhang from the deck above on these balconies. We were on a similar Riviera deck cabin on the Emerald and the overhang was 9 feet. If that is similar on the Regal the overhang would extend about 5 feet beyond the edge of your balcony and your balcony should be in shade a great majority of the time, no matter the time of day or direction of travel. However, no balcony will be shaded all of time. There will be some noise from the public areas above on all of the balconies and I don't know which area would have the least noise.
