Requesting Sofa bed in Cabin

I'm on the EOS in one week, and taking my 4yr old on his first cruise. I booked a room with a pullman, but after reading (like a lot of others) I have realized that this is intended for 6+. He should be fine, and we've even talked about stuffing books between the railing and the mattress in case he rolls to much (we don't think he will).

 

All this being said, I would feel better if we had a sofa bed for him. Is it possible to request a sofa bed for a room that isn't classified as having a sofa bed? If not, do you know if the stateroom attendant would make up the regular sofa at night with sheets on the cushions? (For reference, we are in an interior stateroom)
