room above casino - anyone have experience?

We just found that the room we have book on the Caribbean Princess is over the casino. Has anyone stayed in a room over a casino - if so, were you kept up all night? I sure hope not :(

Overall from what I have gathered from these boards is that above casino is not bad as long as they don't decide to put a band below you. Above a casino is way better than above a disco/lounge.

How about a room underneath a casino, or underneath a show lounge?

 

Am I correct to assume no one will be in the show lounge when there is no show? What about the Casino, does it ever close?

The Show Lounge has stuff going on all the time. You have CD talks about upcoming stops, dance lessons, bingo (some lines and ships), and other stuff. However from around midnight to say 8:00 you should have nothing going on in the Show Lounge.

 

Casino ... depends on how close you are to shore as to if it is open. Usually open at night and closed while in port.

Casinos do close--while in port or very early in the am hours.

 

We had a cabin directly under the casino on the LEgend and i stressed for many weeks about being placed there. Never heard nothing.

We also had a cabinabove a lounge on the aft of the victory...again we heard nothing.
