Transfers from Jean Lesage International Airport in Quebec to Hotel

Can anyone recommend a private/public transportation service (limo/van/taxi, etc.) for a one way transfer from the airport to a hotel in downtown Quebec City?

This is what Fodor has to say,

"Jean Lesage International Airport is about 12 mi northwest of downtown... Private limo service is expensive, starting at C$55 for the ride from the airport into Quebec City. Try Groupe Limousine A-1. Taxis are available immeidately outside the airport exit near the baggage claim area. A ride into the city costats about C$24.50. Two local taxi firms are Taxi Coop de Quebec, the largest company in the city, and Taxi Quebec."

 

We will probably just grab a cab from the airport.

Only time I've flown into Quebec was in February the day after a huge blizzard.. main roads were cleared.. we got a cab with no problem that took us right to the hotel near the Chateau Frontenac... going back 5 days later at 6:00 a.m. we got a cab as soon as we called. IMHO only I'd just get a cab when you get there .. plenty, price is reasonable..

Check to see if the hotel has an airport shuttle.

In Toronto a lot of the hotels do this... some for a small fee and some are free if you have reservations.

LHT - I already checked but my hotel does not have a shuttle service.
