Pacific Northwest Coastal question

Has anyone ever picked up a cellular tower signal along the Pacific Northwest coast, or is the ship too far from shore? I took a US roaming package so I am hoping the answer will be yes...

 

I know it happens in the Caribbean, as my husband and I got home from our cruise a few years ago and found that he was charged for using Cubacell...the issue was...we have never been to Cuba. His phone, which he thought he set to wireless, and connected to the ship's Internet wasn't...it was on roaming! A mistake you only make once...our carrier credited back their own charges...he had to pay the Cuba portion.

No. Have been on four Pac Coastals. Ship sails 25-30 miles out from shore.

Don't remember having any land cell coverage during the sea days.

Even if you were in range of a land based tower - the ship's cell tower would overpower it and your phone would use it anyway.
