there is a shore excursion called Home Port Advisory listed under the Miami port (first day). Cost is $.01. There are a few reviews claiming it to be the best thing ever but know real info on what it is. I am guessing that it is just some sort of safety talk. Feel kind of silly asking but I just need to know now what the heck it is!!! lol

Apparently, you missed the point of me directing to that thread...

 

As I read that thread, no one iseems to be precisely sure but per Carnival as post #38 claims, it is not intended to be an "excursion" (per se) you would book for your group.

 

Perhaps Carnival will clear up your questions.
