computerworks Posted April 21, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2015 Our Oceania cruise has a tender stop in Laguna San Rafael, Chile. Checking the charts, it says it tenders at Paso Quesahuen... which appears to be in the middle of nowhere. :p Does anyone have experience with a stop at this "port?" Thanks... Rare gdlamberth Posted April 21, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2015 We did a stop at Laguna San Rafael a few years ago. Hopefully you can see the photos on the link below. We were on Regent (Oceania's "sister" company) and did anchor in the "middle of nowhere" and take a 300 person catamaran to the Glacier. One of our better days on this trip. Weather dependent, of course, but one of the best glacier viewing stops we've ever had.:D Greg https://plus.google.com/photos/114343942867212115997/albums/6136881286527694049?authkey=CJ_2t_Hy6dvprg
computerworks Posted April 21, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted April 21, 2015 Thanks Greg... that;s what i thought. Was that a Regent excursion? ...or third party? Do you recall the company name?
Rare gdlamberth Posted April 21, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 21, 2015 A Regent Excursion, they had just started "all excursions included" policy. That was one reason we chose Regent for our SA cruise; I didn't want to wrestle setting up tours in these ports.
