EMBFlyer Posted April 22, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2015 Anyone know when the Magic will have the new cheaper Wifi programs. (unlimited) ? I asked John Heald a few weeks back and he said the Magic won't be getting it until sometime in July. He didn't have a specific date at that time. EMBFlyer Posted April 23, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 23, 2015 What is the wifi package now? Anybody remember ? I believe it's the standard minutes-based plan that Carnival has had for years. The larger the minutes package you buy, the cheaper the minutes are.
Shadowdancer604 Posted April 25, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 25, 2015 From the Carnival website Internet Time Plans (Available on all other ships) Instructions on how to create an account and pricing details are present on-screen in the Internet Café or on your laptop once you connect to Carnival WiFi. Internet pricing is identical, whether you are using the Internet Café terminals, your own laptop or other wireless devices. All internet access charges will be billed directly to your onboard ‘Sail & Sign’ Account. Time Plans offer our guests the opportunity to enjoy a lower per-minute rate that can be used anytime throughout the cruise until debarkation and do not have to be used in a single session. The Plan is transferable between the Internet Café terminals and personal laptops/wireless devices. A refund will not be awarded for unused minutes. Upgrading a pre-selected pricing option is not permitted and plans are subject to change. • 480 minutes for $159 • 240 minutes for $89 • 120 minutes for $59 • 45 minutes for $29 • Pay As You Go: $0.75/minute
petro772 Posted April 25, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2015 Bought the 240 minute package on our 12April cruise. Had to leave 53 minutes unused because I couldn't sign on the last two days, even trying at 3 A. M.
