UBP Gratuity on getaway

Does anyone have a bar menu of drink prices? Or know the price of a glass of Baileys on ice?

And are most beers included as they are less than $11? Or is it on beer not in a bottle?

Thanks

Beer is WAY under $11, and 99.9% of any alcoholic drinks you can create on the ship are under $11. It is not an issue. If by some rare feat you do find something that has a base price over $11, you would only pay the difference. In 2 cruises with UBP, I've not found anything yet.

Thanks, I guess it really does not matter. We would never be able to drink enough to buy the package. As we have it included..... I don't want some weird rules to cause us not to use it correctly and still end up with a big bill at the end.

I may take that as a challenge... I'll be looking for a drink over $11. It might take me a bunch of drinks though..... :D

Ha! If you are really looking, you can definitely find something. Like Johnny Walker, I think? I'm just saying in general, 99.9% of drinks are $11 or under. It's not something to be concerned about.

I was on Getaway from May 2nd to 9th 2015: very few drinks were over 11$. There were ultra high end drinks such as Remy Martin XO and other XO cognacs.

WRT my wife's 11.50$ cranberry martinis that we were not charged for because we had UBP, the server's explanation was that the Grey Goose itself is less than 11$. The martini mix (in this specific case it was cranberry juice and lime juice) brought the combined price of the alcohol and the mixer to 11.50$ That being said, we were never charged for this drink on our final bill. (I was also checking with iConcierge which I love because you can see what is being charged on your onboard account). I initially kept the bill to scan and post here but I eventually just through it out. It did indicate a price of $11.50 and NO CHARGE resulted.

I don't know if we had ordered a vodka and vermouth martini... as an alcohol combination that may have exceeded 11$ if we would have been charged.

anyone know the price of Patron? Royal had it included under the Premium package (at least the bartenders gave it to us, no problem, several times) and it was a fun way to celebrate :D All the NCL menus I've seen list it under the "Ultra-Premium" category and say "ask for prices". I'm hoping they have a decent silver/blanco tequila for shooting that would be included under the UBP!

So to confirm, the bill for your wife's martini was $11.50 PLUS 18% gratuity, so a total of somewhere around $13.57? But you didn't pay ANYTHING AT ALL for that drink with her UBP?

No matter what LrgPizza says, if this was the case, THIS IS ODD.

What? Just because you don't get it doesn't mean the rest of the world doesn't. He's now explained it twice. Maybe you should give up?

Honestly, I don't understand why KanataKruiser wasn't charged $0.50 plus $0.09 gratuity for the cocktail. A passenger without UBP presumably would have seen a charge for $11.50 plus $2.07 gratuity, right? UBP means first $11.00 of a drink is free, right? So what happened to that last $0.50 of Kanata's wife's martini?

You're right, I just don't get it. It seems "odd" to me.
