Fulton Garage advice

Has anyone used the Fulton Garage for a few days before cruising? We would like to park the Thursday before we sail (we sail on Sunday). I don't want to get in trouble for booking the $8 rooftop rate that states "Cruise ship parking only" for the 3 extra days.

 

Any advice or experience with this?

I did it one day before and one day after my cruise. I don't know if it's allowed or not...but i paid for it that way online and nobody said anything about it. I left my cruise luggage in the car and just took a backpack to the hotel. Returned to collect my luggage the next day and took the shuttle to the port. Keeping it there the day after was tricky because they want you to leave your bags by the shuttle, go get your vehicle and pick up your bags after you bring your car down...they do this to get you out of the garage I think. I ignored that and took my bags to my car, took my backpack to the hotel, then picked my car up the next day. Hotel parking would've been $25-35/night.

I'm going to book the 10 days and see what happens. I will not need the car after it's dropped off at the lot so I think we'll be OK...
