We have always drove in the day before we cruise. Thinking about flying in for our October cruise. Any differences/advantages in Carnival picking you up or taking a taxi to port?

i used the carnival shuttle when i cruised the glory earlier this year. flew into FLL in the morning arriving at 9:40 am . got our luggage and checked in with the carnival shuttle kiosk. then we had to wait there over 2 1/2 hours before we were led to our bus. we didn't get to the port until around 1pm. never again will i use the carnival shuttle.

Oh my! FLL the pier is so close you could have walked there faster.

Live and learn.
