Port of-Marseilles 7/4/04 - Any suggestions?

Hi!

I'm on Splendour of the Seas 7/3-7/10. First port is Marseilles. Any suggestions for special day trips, special experiences? Also, is the port very far from the train station? Can I walk (Sierra Club hiker and very conditioned).

I'm from Los Angeles. Are there any others from this area traveling on the same cruise?
