We tried Celebrity but brought it all back to Royal

Recommended Posts

Our first cruises were on Royal Caribbean and we enjoyed them.

When Celebrity opened booking for 2016 back in November, I booked our 2016 cruises.

We then went on our first Celebrity cruise this spring, and we thought the food was OK, enjoyed most of the entertainment, staff was great.

A couple of days ago I decided to check RC for comparable cruises on Royal to what I had booked on Celebrity for 2016.

Whoa! Big difference in total price! I had been lured by the "freebies" Celebrity was offering which obviously aren't free.

Royal Caribbean has the BOGO50 until 4/30/15.

I booked Royal, cancelled Celebrity and am saving over $15,000. for the 2016 cruises.

We are so fortunate to be able to have the time off (retired), and still be healthy enough at our age to travel, and to have the means.

My lesson learned.
