For those sailing out of Bayport soon...

Bayport is closed. There are no ships in port until November if I remember correctly. Can't recall exactly when the season starts for them but they just shut down these past few weeks.

So that is perfect timing for the fire really. They can collect on the insurance and rebuild in time for the new tourist season. Amazing coincidence!

Wanted to give people cruising out of Texas a heads up.

We had reservations at the Hampton Inn Houston NASA-Johnson Space Center

(3000 Nasa Road One, Seabrook, Texas) and found out in a very roundabout way that it had a fire last week and is closed indefinitely. I have received 2 email confirmations from them, but they are no longer there! Only on the "modify reservation" page was there a note that the hotel is closed!
