Adult Soda Packages Question

First time cruising and we are soda drinkers. Just wondering if there were any perks to purchasing the Adult Soda Package before the cruise.

 

Also, I'm confused on how they calculate the package charge. Website says it's $6.95 per person per day, which should be $34.75 (if I use 5 days to calculate), we on a 4 day (M-F) cruise to the Bahamas. However, the website is quoting $32.80, I can't figure out how this amount is calculated? Any ideas?

 

The 18% gratuity, is charge at the end of checkout. Is this checkout when I purchase before the cruise or at the end of the cruise? And will the 18% gratuity be charged every time I order a soda too?

You're on a 4-day. 4 X $6.95 = $27.80. Add 18% ($5.00), and there's your $32.80.

 

You will not be charged 18% on your individual drinks. It's included in the plan cost.

If you pre-purchase it before you sail, you are required to purchase it for everyone in the room.

 

If you wait until you board, you can purchase it person by person.

 

I don't know why, or what the difference is. It's just the way they do it.
