Carnival Bookings First week of May

Just curious, how many people on the board have actually booked a Carnival cruise since May 1?

 

I am not seeing the valued discounted rates that previously existed through April even on sailings outside of the peak season.

 

Is this an annual trend for Carnival (May 1 they cut back on discounts for the quarter), or?

 

We booked a back to back before end of April, but there are no other comparable offers for other cruises that show up now and we are looking to book more for late fall, winter and spring.

 

This is more of a learning inquiry please.
