Silly saver pricing on some Oceana 14 day sailings

I've just noticed that some of the saver prices for balconies on the Oceana 14 day sailings in May/June are £1999... which is more than the combined prices of two consecutive 7 day sailings for the same periods. Cheaper to book two 7 day cruises and leave the seats empty on the plane!

I think you must have misread the price. I have just looked at the 14 day cruise in a balcony cabin for £1099. The 7 day cruises are £749 and £849 respectively.

I have just seen the anomaly that you have pointed out. The Venice to Venice 14 day cruise is £1099. But the Genoa to Genoa is £1999. This has to be typo by P&O surely.
