Carnival Live cruise--- should I?

 Share

Recommended Posts

I was given a free cruise from the Casino last week after our cruise in the Magic. I was looking at options, and the best one seems to be the July 26th Magic cruise for me. However, this cruise is part of the Carnival Live series featuring The Band Perry. Does anyone have any experience with this type of cruise when they are not particularly interested in the featured entertainer? Any pros/cons to this? I could do the same itinerary in the Freedom at about the same time frame, but the Casino was particularly generous last week on the Magic and I really liked the Casino hosts and pit bosses, so did not really want to change ships. Any insights or thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank you for the info. Do you know if the Live series cruises attract a different crowd than normal? I enjoy fun, but not over the top!

I doubt it. If there's a rock type band, those attracted to it won't likely book a cruise to see them.
