SausPud Posted May 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2015 We will be at this port between 7am to 18.00, any suggestions thanks How about finding a free wifi hotspot and going on cruise critics and post loads of threads on port stops without any information on what cruise ship and when travelling, so it fills up the time line. Oh, too late, you have already done that.

GaryT-UK Posted May 15, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 15, 2015 We were meant to go to Genoa and ended up in Rapallo. I did find the funicular railway, which takes you up to a church and some great views. Wasn't expensive, but I think there is a timetable for the trains if you have time to research. I just timed it nicely!
Sheila49 Posted May 16, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 16, 2015 A few hundred yards to the right along the sea front from the tender drop off there is a small pier with a kiosk selling boat trips to Portofino and Santa Marguerita. 10 euro pp return for a trip which Thomson charge £35 pp for. The boats run back and forward all day and it's a short trip, maybe 20-30 minutes. You would have time to see both places. Portofino is lovely.
