Looking for information on a local guides who cater to the cruise ships...

Wendy I think you mentioned something about a local guide Jo Cook...

Can you give me more information on the local guide Jo Cook of Out & About? Do they have a website or phone number. I would really like to contact them to see what they have to offer and to see if they will be available for my cruise. I haven't been able to find any info on this local guide company. Swizzle would you happen to have any information on this local guide or any other local guide s or guide/tour companies?/

Jo Cook offers walking tours. I thought she just did St. Georges but apparantly she does other spots as well. For some reason she had a page on bermudashorts.bm but it is not up there anymore, I wonder if she's stopped giving tours? :confused:

pinkaboo - I also found Jo Cook on the bermudashorts website. When I talked to her she mentioned that she wouldn't be on the island when we cruised there; however, I may have misunderstood her & maybe she's not doing any more tours. This is the e-mail address I have for her gjpcook@ibl.com. Swizzle is right, she's no longer on the bermudashorts website. I found another mention of her & one or two other walking tours at http://walk.10.free.bm. Doing a walking tour is a great way to learn about the island. We just came back from Bermuda & took the bus & ferry as we ended up only being there for one day (due to Hurricane Nate lurking nearby) & while that was really enjoyable seeing the scenery and going all over the island, we didn't learn anything about the island & its people.
