What kind of savings deals do they give on facials and how long is best to wait to book the appointment I don't have a lot of money since I am paying for college

I had booked mine out a few weeks, because I had a particular time that I wanted to go. However the best deals are when the ships are in port. You will receive a paper in your fun times that will tell you the port prices and they are usually a bit cheaper than sea day prices.

Last I checked, massages and facials were about $150/50 minutes.

As the previous poster stated, they will run specials while the ship is in port, and that is most likely when you will find good deals. They also have specials throughout the week that will be posted in the Fun Times or on flyers throughout the ship (usually as you are headed out to the pool). If you do the Spa tour on the first day, they will also offer you specials. If I recall correctly, they have a deal where you get 3 mini treatments for $99, 5 mini treatments for $149, etc.

The only special we were offered on the Splendor during the tour was spa treatments on embarkation day. Not interested that day.

U can also do free seminars for spa. I did lady's day. Free mini treatment. Or do a spa pass for the week.

I don't know when your cruise is, but there is another option. You can purchase Cruise Cash from the Fun Shops and add a bit of cash to your account before you sail. You can do it in increments of $25 -- just make sure that you choose Cruise Cash as there is more than one option (Cruise Cash, Casino Cruise Cash, Drink Cruise Cash, Cruise Cash Photo). You would be surprised at how quickly $25 each paycheck adds up. And if you end up adding more to your account than you spend in the spa, you will have extra left over to pay for drinks, photos, etc.

A spa pass for the day or week is to allow you entrance to the thermal rooms and heated mineral pool (not all ships have these). It doesn't include any treatments so I don't think that's what you want.

 

The 3 mini treatments that are combinable for $99 are probably the cheapest deal you're gonna get for a facial or massage. Don't forget the tip, which is another $15-20.

Can you book these mini treatment packages in advance? Or just have to wait and hope you can get in? We're thinking of skipping an excursion on the last port day in favor of a spa visit!

There's usually a sale for the spa while the ship is in port. On the week I was on the breeze the best deals where the last 3 days on it
