NCL Getaway Return Flight Time?

On the Getaway out of Miami 4/23/16 sailing. What's the earliest flight out of Miami that we are safe booking?

 

We'd like to get back home as soon as possible.

We'd like to get back home as soon as possible.

 

 

Most people recommend making flights for 11:00 and later. People have reported catching flights as early as 9:00 however there is always things that can go wrong when debarking, traffic and not to mention MIA is a zoo on the weekends.

 

After a relaxing and fun vacation why stress trying to make an early flight? :D

Agree, lot of flights from Miami to New York, so should be OK. But, it's good to have an idea what we can make if the choice comes down to, say, 10:45am or 3pm or if a flight on the early dude is significantly cheaper.

We made a 10:30am flight easily. We did self debarkation from The Haven at 7:15. Took a taxi and we were at the airport by 8am and at the gate by 8:30am. What slowed us down is we got upgraded to first class, so couldn't check in outside, we had to go inside to check in. Line was short however and we got pre-check for security which also had a short line.

Got a 10:54am flight out of Miami. That's perfect.
