Our story is far from over but right now we only are beyond thankful for Travel Gaurd. My Mom fell on one of the many short but steep escalators in Seattle Airport on her way to a Princess Cruise. Advice: use the elevator. Don't risk it! The emergency room says it happens every day.

If it weren't for Travelguard I don't know how we would have gotten her home. The hospital would not have released her without their help in arranging oxygen. They also arranged wheelchairs, flights, transportation home beyond the flights and a travel nurse to supervise the oxygen.

Normally my mom does not use oxygen nor need help with walking. It is all foreign to us. They also were extremely comforting and supportive.

Who would have imagined this happening? and truthfully she could have been injured so much more severely if she were not a strong person.

So far I LOVE the help we have received from Travel Gaurd and highly recommend it.

I just arrived 4 days ago from a trip abroad with a cast on my R foot. While abroad, I had an accident: as I was going down the stairs, I missed a step before landing hard on the pavement resulting in a broken foot. From the moment I called TravelGuard up to the moment I arrived home here in the U.S., Travel Guard was simply impressive in their response.

They kept in touch with me daily, via telephone to see how I was doing. Many times, I had occasion to speak with different agents and it was as if it was only one person who was handling my case. They were very professional, and reassuring. Their Medical Dept and their Transport/Flight Dept worked together seamlessly to find me flights that accommodated my needs. IE. upgraded my seat category to a fully reclining seat so that I could elevate my legs throughout the flight and provided for a non-medical escort to accompany me all the way home.

We've taken many cruises and have always bought insurance with Travel Guard, and I recommended it based on the coverage they provide especially the pre-existing medical condition waiver. I now highly recommend it because of this recent experience.
