papcx Posted June 18, 2015 Author #26 Share Posted June 18, 2015 I did ifly 3 times. One booking and 2 on standby. Waited 2 minutes and about 20 minutes for the standby slots. I've looked up the price for doing it at home! Will not be happening!

papcx Posted June 18, 2015 Author #28 Share Posted June 18, 2015 (edited) Was that on anthem they let you go again as standby? Yes. The team does all the flow rider, ifly and rock climbing (plus probably much more). They're very approachable and laid back. They looked through the schedule and gave me a couple of suggestions when the session wasn't fully booked. I turned up, asked can I go on standby, they checked I'd signed the waivers and I just waited. I was quite good (their words not mine) so by my 3rd go they were showing me how to turn and go forward or backward in the tunnel. If there wasn't so much to do on this ship I'd have lived in that tunnel. The show the instructors do after each session is mind blowing. Tip, if you want a vid of your flight you'll need someone NOT doing the session to record it for you. Nothing loose (ie camera) is allowed near the tunnel.
