London airport transportation

Has anyone used Express Airport Transport recently? I was thinking about using them airport to London hotel then London hotel to Southampton cruise port and then finally the cruise port back to Heathrow

Like all taxi services they get mixed reviews in Tripadvisor. It is not unknown for taxi firms to post bad reviews about rivals.

 

This firm does seem to attract some genuine criticism like this, but it was from 18 months ago and the company could be completely different now. The website looks fairly good, although there still seems to be no address. I note that card payments are taken in advance but they will accept cash at the end of the journey.

 

Having seen this company's website I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. No company address, the text reads like it's been put through google translate and full of stock images of telesales people that you can be sure aren't the genuine company. There are plenty of generally well reviewed car services on this forum. Pity you (both) didn't come on here and check before booking.

 

You pays your money and you takes your choice.

I booked them for august because their price was significantly lower than other companies... Can't comment on past experiences but I'm hoping that they're ok! I figure that the worst that can happen is that they're late, which shouldn't really impact my life too much!
