Alaskan excursions

You should check the Alaska boards: http://forums.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=55

Read reviews and trip reports - there are some for cruisetours with other cruise lines (Princess, HAL and RCCL) but the itineraries are very similar and the excursions are almost the same, so you will still get an idea of what's available.

Technically any port of call in Alaska can be DIY, the question is - what your interests are, and what excursions would YOU consider must-do? Whale watching? Dog sledding? Is flightseeing in your budget? Do you want to see nature, wildlife, go fishing, see glaciers?
