Just phoned princess and spoke with Zoe. She confirmed that the cruise will count.

Oh how I love cruise critic and how I don't like travel agents. Once again this proves how we cant trust then.

Most trips I do all bookings myself but this cruise was too good a price. I couldn't get anywhere near the price by booking myself.

Also, the other noticiable difference (for us) is full suites on PO will only count as 1 status credit and not the usual 2 if sailed on Princess.

 

And similarly if you travel solo (as I do sometimes) P&O only counts as one cruise and not two as it does on Princess
