Jewel October 2 Questions

I am so psyched for this cruise! I bought three new dresses today. Anyway, not to digress, but a few questions: are there two or three formal nights? And does anyone know the pool hours on RCI? Thanks and happy cruising, Nancy

Which itinerary is it and how long is the sailing?

We are going on the ten day Eastern Carribean/ Bermuda from Boston. I really need to get some work accomplished, home organized after a hectic summer, but am getting too preoccupied with daydreams of the Jewel. The anticipation is part of the fun.

Ok. This is copied and pasted from the RCCL site. Looks like two formal and two smart casual. We sailed on the Jewel last December on a 6 night western Caribbean itinerary. She's a fabulous ship. Have a great time.

 

By the way, I know just what you mean about the daydreaming. When I'm cruise planning I'm totally obsessed.:D

 

 

What are the dress codes onboard?

There are three distinct types of evenings onboard: casual, smart casual and formal. Suggested guidelines for these nights are: Casual: Sport shirts and slacks for men, sundresses or pants for womenSmart Casual: Jackets and ties for men, dresses or pantsuits for womenFormal: Suits and ties or tuxedos for men, cocktail dresses for women

3 to 4-night cruises include one formal night and two or three casual nights.

5 -night cruises include one formal and four casual nights.

7 to 9-night cruises include two formal nights, one smart casual night and four or six casual nights.

10 to 13-night cruises include two formal nights, two smart casual nights, and six or nine casual nights.

14+ -night cruises include three formal nights and four smart casual nights. All other nights are casual.

Thank you both. I think I am still going to wear dresses on the smart casual nights anyway. My husband likes me in dresses, and I love dressing up for dinner. oooh, I've got cruise fever. Have a good weekend, Nancy

Comfort cove I am on the same cruise the docs I received said 2 formal 3 smart casual and the rest casual. I am looking forward to the cruise very much also to meeting everyone at the m&m
