Both Ocean View Gem 161 sq ft, Sunshine 220 sq ft

Gem $2309.78 with beverage or dinner package

Sunshine $1741.88 with $125 OBC

 

Seems like a no brainier

but if I book now I can have a choice of cabins

 

I have a FCC with NCL so no money down $500 down with Carnival

I have read a lot about how crowded the Sunshine is and it worries me some.

If it was oniy a few dollars different i would Go NCL but it is a big difference

I've sailed on both lines and the cabins are noticeably bigger on Carnival. My NCL Dawn balcony stateroom felt cramped to me. Plus the mattress was uncomfortable to me (I realize mattress comfort is relative). With the difference in price you are looking at, if it were me, I'd go with Carnival. Honestly, I've only sailed once with NCL, but I remember the food being inferior to any Carnival ship I've sailed on... but that was several years ago. I did enjoy my NCL cruise and had no major complaints. Hey, it's a cruise! With a good attitude you'll have fun on either ship.
