The servers were so nice and brought the boys a virgin frozen strawberry drink and after the kitchen sent out a fruit platter for my dessert the maître d' brought warm peaches with cinnamon and lemon sorbet. HEAVEN!! After buying some treats and gifts for love ones in the photo center and duty free shop we went back to the room to pack and my DH went to try his luck in the casino. I decided that we would pack our things and put them out the night before before midnight. Got it done with 15 minutes to spare.

Oh No! Do we have to get off the ship??:

We got up early to get ready and pack up our backpack. We wanted to see our Steward and Butler before we went to breakfast. This is when I figured out that I managed to mix up my black sandals with my youngest sons. So I went to breakfast and walked off the ship with one black flip flop and 9 year olds plastic sand sandal.

At breakfast we met up with Suzana and she walked us down to the station to walk off the ship. She was so helpful making sure we had reservations, got off the boat at ports, and that we were getting anything I needed as far as food. We walked down and found our suitcases and my other shoe. Next time I will just walk off with our suitcases! Lol! Made it through customs with no problems.

We really didn't want to wait in the heat so we called them and they were there in 10 minutes. Great communication (no GPS but did have a text from to driver). We will stay at the Crowne Plaza for two nights. It has a trolly that runs down main roads to allow us to get to the beach, shopping and restaurants. It was clean and ready early for us upon our arrival. It has a bistro and tiki bar by the pool that overlooks the waterway. 9fb011a092a50e6711ff4d34381b2b4c.jpge242be1eea79ca62ff17539563d251c0.jpg93b9089255f3f5512957ead002a8d38f.jpg

General thoughts:

We had a wonderful time and will sail again soon! We used the laundry service on the third day. It was only $19.99 for a bag of wash and folded laundry. I double bagged the sack and rolled all of our clothes and fitted in tons of jeans, shorts, and shirts.

If you get turned around on the ship look at the carpet. The fish pattern is laid where the fish swim to the front of the ship. 9f34727e5df74c61a164652b8e6ec3c5.jpg

Thank you for taking the time to read about our trip. It was fun reliving our time aboard NCL Sky. Wish you the best!

We are going to be on the Sky on July 6 with a 14, 13, and 8 year old. You didn't mention much about your kids going to Entourage and Splash Academy. Did they spend much time there? We're hoping to get some time to ourselves in the evening while the kids enjoy the clubs.

The boys only attended the academy and entourage the first night. They enjoyed it but the rest of the nights were full of activities and we were exhausted and feel asleep early every night. I'm sure your kids will love going and spending time with their new friends!
