cantthinkofanythingfun Posted June 10, 2015 Author #26 Share Posted June 10, 2015 It sounds like the odds are pretty good. For the sake of convenience and the $1200 savings, I'm going to book on the Pride and hope we make it to HMC. I have no intention of getting off the ship at Freeport. Thanks for all of the input. mike_ga Posted June 10, 2015 #27 Share Posted June 10, 2015 (edited) I have no intention of getting off the ship at Freeport. Thanks for all of the input. Why, when you could walk a hundred yards off the ship and pay $15 for a drink at Senor Frogs, or take a cab halfway across Grand Bahama to find a decent beach. Freeport should only be visited for dry dock. Edited June 10, 2015 by mike_ga
love my grandkids Posted June 10, 2015 #28 Share Posted June 10, 2015 0 for 3. Different cruise lines/ships, different times of the ear. I've given up. Wow such bad luck. We are 3 for 3 with another visit this fall. Awesome place

Never understood anyone wanting to go on itinerary of Freeport, Nassau and Pt Canaveral.

For some people, myself being one of them, we have been to the ports you visit when you sail out of Florida way too many times. Now a cruise out of Florida is a nice getaway and the casino, being on the water, shipboard activities etc. become more of a draw than the ports.
