TxCruiseGuy Posted June 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2015 Has anyone stayed in cabin 6440 on the Carnival Triumph. Finally trying an aft balcony and want to hear some opinions. Thanks!!
TexasGal#35 Posted June 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2015 Just in case someone responds to your question, we're in Aft cabin #6467. I'm interested in that one too. Thanks, Gloria
douglinc@msn.com Posted June 12, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 12, 2015 Not on the Triumph, but we had an aft balcony on the Magic and loved it.
Glassmcr1981 Posted June 12, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 12, 2015 We were in 6465 on the Triumph last week. Pretty nice room, and the balcony had three chairs and a small table. Only word of warning - you will hear music from the club below on comedy and burlesque nights, and it can be really loud. It should all be wrapped up by midnight, but if you are an early and light sleeper take that into consideration.
TexasGal#35 Posted June 13, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 13, 2015 This will be our first cruise on the Triumph so I'm unfamiliar with the layout of the ship. I was unaware that there were clubs below us. We can sleep late if we are kept up, but I take ear plugs when we travel just in case. BallFour4 Posted June 13, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 13, 2015 (edited) We just had an aft extended balcony on the Triumph. The view was great. Things that will keep me from going back in warm weather: it's hot, hot enough so the aluminum frames of the dividers will burn your hand to touch it's warmer in the cabin. We take a fan, so this helped you have zero privacy. When you step to the rail you can see all your neighbors, and those in the aft lido pool can see you as well. We had an aft wrap on the Magic in February and it had the "eyebrow" overhead. Much cooler and more privacy. Oh, and much more expensive. Booked the port side forward balconies again for our next two. . Edited June 13, 2015 by BallFour4
TxCruiseGuy Posted June 14, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted June 14, 2015 Thanks for the replies! Luckily I'm a night owl so any noise from shows shouldn't be a problem. Great to hear about the Magic's aft balconies. I love that ship but after having a cove balcony I don't know if I could do a different room next time I sail on it!
