Hello, Will be in Cozumel September 26. Really liked what I saw at Playa Chen Rio, because my mother is disabled and the wade pool wouldnt knock her down and she cant get water in her ears, so there is no waves. Anyone been to Playa Chen Rio before? Could anyone tell me their experiences? Thanks :)

Chen Rio is on the East side of the island. The waves are much stronger there than west side beaches. In the past the beach has been the only beach on the East side where swimming is allowed. It has had lifeguards, but also might post warning flags and not allow swimming. I think Punta Morena has lifeguards and swimming now but conditions are similar. Chen Rio is know for good food. Their whole snapper is excellent, if its still available.

But sounds like you Mom needs to be either on a West side beach or do a no beach/no water excursion.
