RCI-EXCURSIONS-Blackbeard Cay

Thinking of doing RCI-Blackbeards Cay Excursion-anyone done this-this will be my 3rd time to the Bahamas-looking for an inexpensive shore excursion-or the Yellowbird -:p

Went there 2 years ago. The beach is nice with sugar white sand. They have a lunch counter and a bar. You get a ticket for a free Rum Punch but thats about all. I believe it is just across from Cable Beach

it was short but nice. the water was nice, beach not too crowded, beverages cold. :)

They take you by boat to a little island ( it's the same spot that they take the swim w/ stingrays excursion) The water is crystal clear, they have beach chairs and a little souvenir shop, food and restrooms. If you just want to spend a few hours on the beach this is fun. We even enjoyed the short boat ride. It is directly across from Cable Beach. No water toys or anything like that there. It leaves time for you to do other things while in Nassau. We did the 1:00 trip, so we went to Straw Mkt in the am, had lunch on the Ship and then went to Blackbeards. By the time we got back had just enough time for a quick dip in the pool and then time to get ready for dinner. Very enjoyable.

Is there anything to see in the water? We like to snorkel but since we are traveling with our 6 year old daughter we prefer to let her walk into the water rather than snorkel in open water off a boat (she is more relaxed this way).
