Does anyone know if carnival has any non-alcoholic beer available? Due to certain medications the DH to be can't have alcohol. However, I can and was wondering if Carnival allows you to bring a bottle of wine onboard. Its been a while and I don't remember. I know Celebrity allows 2 bottles. Thanks in advance.

On our recent Magic cruise "Buckler" was the Non-alcoholic beer available.

You can bring 1 (750m)l bottle of wine on board per passenger 21 and older in your carry-on.

Here's some more beer questions...

If you pre-order the 4 packs of beer from Carnival's website...are they in your cabin on ice when you arrive?

I've heard mention of "beer buckets" on board at certain bars. How many beers in the bucket and how much to they cost? Which bars offer them? (we will be on the Fantasy)

You can request the beer be delivered on embarkation day (except for Texas, where it cannot be delivered until day 2), or you can request another day when you complete your purchase. Whether or not they will be there when you arrive will depend on how busy the staff that delivers it is on embarkation day. In my experience they are delivered bundled in a clear plastic wrapper, not on ice. You can ask for a bucket of ice from your room stewart.

I can't say that the "Bucket of Beer" can be purchased at all of the bars, but I have seen them purchased at all of the Lido deck bars, the sports bar, and the atrium bar. I can't say that I have ever seen them purchased from the casino bar, but maybe someone else has and can comment.

There are 4 beers in a "Bucket of Beer", and the price is calculated based on the on-board price of the beer, less a $2.00 discount for buying a "Bucket".

For example, Michelob Ultra is $5.95 each (as of 6/7/15), so a "Bucket" of Michelob Ultra would be $25.07 with gratuity. If you purchase the "Bucket" while in U.S. waters, the sales tax applicable to the state you are in will also be added to the purchase price.
