Stingray city great stirrup cay

just booked this excursion super excited! Just wondering if anyone could tell me where you go to get the boat that takes you to where the stingrays are? I remember reading it somewhere but can't remember. Trying to figure out where I will be plopping myself for the day until we have to catch the boat at 2! :)

You just go to the information/excursion booth on the island at the designated time on your excursion ticket and they take you over.

This is a fantastic excursion. I would say one of the best we've ever done. You will have a great time. Be sure to take some good sunscreen!!!

 

You will meet the other people on the excursion at the excursion desk on the island and then you will be escorted to the boats.

I think they just edited their response to say that because they posted in the wrong place.

Just an FYI - it is a bit of a walk - not too far, but just saying it in case anyone has issues walking any distance. As others have said, you meet at the excursion desk (which is right by where you get off the tender boats). From there, you will get your tickets and they will walk you as a group over to the area where you get on the boat to go to the stingray area. Short boat ride over and then you are there. Also, if you have someone not doing the actual stingray experience, you are allowed to go to that point where the boat docks and wait on the dock area while the others are in the water. You can take pics if you like. I got some great pics of the kids holding huge starfish right in the water at the dock area before they did the stingrays. Have fun!
