Cape Verde Visa

Could anyone tell me if we need a visa for cape verde when the cruise ship is staying a few hours.

I do not know the facts, but I have noticed that Thomson cruises ask for details so that they can buy a visa for you from the ship for Cape Verde, before you arrive.

From that, I would presume that yes, a visa is needed.

Ask your TA or cruise line for the facts...sorry, perhaps you'll find a better answer! :o

I went with Fred Olsen to two of the Cape Verde islands, and we didn't need to apply for a visa. Whether Fred Olsen needed to get one on our behalf, I don't know, but I don't think so.
