cruisyjulie Posted April 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2004 I am going on the Diamond April 17th in a penthouse suite. Does anybody know what special amenities there are (i.e. complimentary dry cleaning, better pillows, etc.)? Also, do suite passengers get priority spa reservations or dinner reservations for all the resteraunts? I am also platinum status if that gets us anything. Thank you! crusing plantlady Posted April 8, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 8, 2004 We were just on The Grand in a Vista Suite. It was fabulous. The Amenities are fun, but the space is fantastic. Vistas are located ao the stern and we loved the location. The balconies and bathrooms in these rooms are huge. Breakfast on your balconies are a must but don't forget the champagne for this. The eggs bennedict is great! We order 4 lobster tails for the patio the night it was on the menu cuz we had late seating. They misunderstood and brought 4 lobster dinners. Our two kids were with and so we did finish all the tails and went later to dinner. The beef wellington this night is also wonderful. This was a great cuise and I plan to write a review this weekend as the weather is back in the 40's in Wisconsin. The tan will fade fast at this rate. Have fun, great rooms. cruisyjulie Posted April 9, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted April 9, 2004 S.S. Oceanlover, Thank you for the link. That was great info you passed on about the suites. One question though...does "preferred dining reservations" mean I can call now (a week ahead) and reserve what I want or what? Thank you... S.S.Oceanlover Posted April 10, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 10, 2004 Julie, That question I can not answer for you. All you do is call and see what they say. Maybe your travel agent knows.
